Broadcasting

He has
worked
for IBM
and Citibank,
and served
on the
leadership
team that
helped
Merrill
Lynch Credit
Corporation
win the
Malcolm
Baldrige
National
Quality
Award.
John is
a co-founder
and past
chair of
the Jacksonville
Small Business
Resource
Network
and is
past chair
of the
WJCT Community
Advisory
Board.
He holds
a BS in
English
Literature
from Dartmouth
College,
an MBA
from Stanford
University
and an
MS in Quality
Management
from University
of Miami.
Scott
Abrams
Scott
is the
former
Director
of ImprovJacksonville
and was
with that
troupe
since the
very beginning
as a partner,
performer
and founding
member
of the
cast. He
led ImprovJacksonville
since it
was five
players
performing
in local
bars to
the creation
of their
100-seat
ImprovJacksonville
Comedy
Theater
at the
Jacksonville
Landing.
Scott has
been onstage
since he
was 11
years old,
from Alaska
to California
and up
and down
the east
coast.
He has
performed
on every
sort of
stage,
in every
sort of
role in
every sort
of production,
from live
theatre
to television,
radio and
film, leading
man to
voice over
talent.
He founded
and directed
the “Maschugana
Children’s
Theatre” in
Naples.
Over the
course
of the
past 10
years,
Scott has
directed
student
and adult
theatre
programs
and has
written
and developed
more than
250 hours
of curriculum
for the
corporate
and school
arenas.
Scott dedicates
all moments
of creative
cathartic
enlightenment
to his
three beautiful
boys.
